• Membership Meeting Roster Exchange - a roster of the people attending the monthly membership dinners is distributed at the meetings so members can strategize as to who they want to meet that night. They can also do follow up the next day with the contact information listed on the roster.
• Networking Table – tables are set up in the registration area at each monthly meeting so members can display their brochures, invitations, business cards, announcements, discount coupons, giveaways, etc. So while the member is on one side of the room networking, their brochure is on the other side making a connection too.
• Host a Raffle – members are welcome to donate an item to be raffled off at each membership meeting. The donation is promoted at the meeting via a sign by the business card fish bowl and several times from the podium.
• Discounts and VIP Treatment from Fellow Members – All members are asked to give discounts and the VIP treatment to fellow members. So if you’re in need of any type of product or service, please ask the chamber for a referral to a fellow member. The chamber boasts a huge variety of industries in its roster of members so come to us first before going anywhere else.
• Sponsor a Meeting - members are welcome to address the membership by sponsoring a meeting. All the sponsor has to do is pay a nominal fee and show up the day of the event to make their pitch. Putting together the event is totally up to the chamber. We will design the invitations, disseminate them to the membership and beyond, be responsible for the venue and caterer contracts, pick out the menu, compile the list of attendees to handout at the meeting, make out the name badges and emcee the event, among many other details. Most importantly, we fill the room so the sponsor is addressing a large, interested crowd. See Upcoming Events and Event Calendar to find out which meetings are coming up.
• Discount at LIHCC Fundraisers – members receive significant discounts on tickets to its fundraiser, which end up paying for the entire or a great portion of the membership dues depending on the membership level!
• Listing in Gala Journal/Resource Guide – members are listed in the Gala Journal/Resource Guide that is not only given out at the annual gala but at all chamber events, expos and meetings throughout the year for maximum exposure.
• Connections – members are welcome to send in flyers announcing special needs or events so we can distribute them to the membership and beyond upon request.
• Member of the Week ads – members are recommended to send a business card size ad, or to email us a logo so we can make the ad, which will then be featured in the flyers sent to the membership several times a week.
• Discount of the Week – members are urged to send in flyers featuring a discount or coupon exclusive to LIHCC members so we can disseminate it to the membership and beyond.
• Giveaways Roundup – members are asked to send in their giveaways so even if they can't make an event, their company's name will be represented in the gift bag attendees bring back to their offices.
• "What's New" Website Page – members receiving awards, offering discounts and such will be featured on our new website's "What's New" page. • Smart Business Exchange - The SBX will gather a team of businesses that will complement each other so they can help each other grow in a cooperative environment customized to nurture the Exchange's member companies. There are three levels of membership being offered:
1. In-House Partners - members with furnished offices at the Exchange who have access to the office manager, conference rooms and state-of-the-art business machines, as well as the on-site business development workshops and certification programs. In-House Partners will become part of a team who meet regularly to discuss the latest business techniques and pitfalls.
2. Virtual Members – members with access to the conference rooms, state-of-the-art business machines, on-site workshops and certification programs but without a physical office at the Exchange.
